About

Hi I’m Isa!

I believe the most beautiful moments happen when no one is looking. Guided by the outdoors and a love for cinematic storytelling, my work is an exploration of the quiet poetry found in the ‘in between’—the soft glance, the messy laughter, and the unscripted truth of a moment.

Starting out in film photography, I love capturing moments lending to the warm nostalgic feeling film gives. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen and comfortable, ensuring your photos reflect your genuine spirit rather than a staged version of it. Ultimately, I’m not only trying to capture how you look, but how it feels to be there.

Capturing the feelings, not just the faces

My Story

Funny enough, my photography journey began in front of the camera instead of behind it, as the majority of my high school and college career I was working as a model. I don’t think I would have discovered photography had I not been surrounded by it for years!

I started taking photos after my first year at college when I discovered my grandfather’s old film camera from the 90’s. With the little bit of knowledge I had acquired working alongside photographers, I was able to figure out how to use it and from there there was no stopping me! I started growing my portfolio(and camera collection), experimenting as much as I could, and after a year of film photography under my belt, I finally bought a digital camera. I took it everywhere–capturing anything and everything I could!

Through my experimentation I’ve found I adore travel, couples, and portrait photography. I gravitate towards creating photos that look like a natural snippet of one’s life, capturing the emotions, hidden glances, and moments into one photograph.
